Villa La Stella is located on the Fiesole’s hill, in the Camerata area, just a few minutes from the city centre.
The Villa, built at the end of the XIII century, has been modified & enlarged during the years by the owners up to reaching the actual form. Completely restructured, it is surrounded by a private park of centuries-old plants.
It narrates that Dante Alighieri, owner of the bordering Villa, used to walk in the garden of Villa La Stella to find inspiration for his verses to the shade of a myrtle still today in the park, well preserved and object of particular interest from guests of the Villa.
The structure became in time a strategic place for the observation of Florence and today, it still offers the possibility to admire from top of the tower, a wonderful complete view.
A place of history, arts and prayer, Villa La Stella today is owned by the Missionaries of Mary Immaculate. 3% of the fee paid by you will be destined to financing and supporting projects and developments in the third world countries.
The peaceful atmosphere, the location, and the proximity to Florence and Fiesole city centres, make Villa La Stella the ideal and convenient place to spend holidays, to organize meetings, work shops or wedding cerimonies.
Even for group holidays.
